Because of a planned flying display  we have had notice of two  nautical mile exclusion zone centred on a point over the Bristol Channel just off Weston Super Mare beach. This is between 1030 hours and 1700 hours on 17th and 18th June 2017. This exclusion zone includes the prohibition of small unmanned aircraft (this means all types and sizes of model aircraft). Read about it here.

The original notification was for a 6 nautical mile exclusion zone (see here), but this has now been reduced to 2 nautical miles and thus does not now include Crook Peak. However, some of our members fly models in the Weston Super Mare area and they should take heed of this ban.
